Howdi, Froggers. I'm so sorry it's been a while since I've last posted. There have been some major hurdles that life has thrown our Fam., but all is GOOD, and I do mean GOOD! God is faithful, even when we are faithless. I've SO learned that these past several weeks.
Now, on to some FUN stuff.
I realized that I didn't have any pretty valentine stuff for my space at Building Character, so I whipped up a few pieces. These are paper on wood, and are painted with Old White and my mixture for a mauvy look. I'll share the recipe in a future post.
I did a collagey kinda thing with my paper.
Here's another one with a flower. A little simpler.
Here's my four heart piece.
I love experimenting with different techniques.
Here are some garlic chive "flowers" from our garden that I sprayed white. HubbyDoc is the gardener, and I harvest what dries, spray it, and put it in a wreath or a vase. I really love re-using what would end up in the compost heap.
They're so delicate and airy.
And, just for fun, here's the kind of thing my daughter makes when she's home from college. Yikes!
These are salted caramel cupcakes, and they truly are to DIE for. Sorry to end the sentence with a preposition, but it was necessary.
And, here's one of my cutie pies. I kinda love her.
Well, that's it for now, Froggers. It's good to be back.
Fondly, Tami
