So, I'm on the bandwagon with making hand-carved stamps out of erasers again. Here is my latest. I'm in a few mixed media groups, and two of them are suggesting picking a word of the year to focus on, so mine is Faith. Last year was difficult for me in several ways, and when difficult times befall me, I look for an opportunity to strengthen my Faith. Don't get me wrong, I do have issues and struggle at times, but I know God is trying to work in my heart.
So this is my word. And I made a stamp out of it.
If you missed my post, I did a mini-tutorial here.
This is what the stamped image looks like on a piece of red paper. I'm thinking this will be useful with my card making as well.
I really like how it turned out.
Again, thanks for looking! I'm amazed at the wonderful blogs "out there", and I'm honored that you look at mine.
Fondly, Tami
This looks awesome kind of a Hawaiian feel to it when I look at it anyway.. Great idea to do your word in a stamp like that.. After your post the other day I have carved 2 stamps as well just some simple ones I will use on my Gelli plate and on backgrounds so thanks for the great little tutorial on how to do this..
