Hey, Froggers. Wow! Two posts in a week. I’m on a roll. Actually, I’ve been biking with my neighbor, and we all know what THAT means! It means that I’m so sore in the evenings, that all I do is sit around. Yup. As the old Binary Philosopher said, “I sit, therefore, I blog.”
I’ve also had a little bit of energy to transform this little pretty. I found her at a yard sale. The only blemish that she had was some minor water damage on the top. She’s solid oak.
I decided to keep her rather simple- just a few coats of ASCP in old white, and a reverse stenciled design on the top. I just waxed her with clear Briwax.
I wish I could keep all of the pieces I transform. It's not as bad as if I'd have to give up my children, but it's a close second.
I hope you all have a Craftastic day!
Fondly, Tami

ReplyDeleteWhat a cute table! It is a tough call to give up our projects that we've put our heart & souls into, they are like our babies after all the effort we put into them.
