Half Round Table Transformation

Hey, Froggers. Wow! Two posts in a week. I’m on a roll. Actually, I’ve been biking with my neighbor, and we all know what THAT means! It means that I’m so sore in the evenings, that all I do is sit around. Yup. As the old Binary Philosopher said, “I sit, therefore, I blog.”

I’ve also had a little bit of energy to transform this little pretty. I found her at a yard sale. The only blemish that she had was some minor water damage on the top. She’s solid oak.

I decided to keep her rather simple- just a few coats of ASCP in old white, and a reverse stenciled design on the top. I just waxed her with clear Briwax.

A little distressing later, she was ready to go to my space in Building Character.

I wish I could keep all of the pieces I transform. It's not as bad as if I'd have to give up my children, but it's a close second.

I hope you all have a Craftastic day!
Fondly, Tami

  4. I'm with you I so want to keep so many of my pieces, but to the shop they go. The little table is adorable and love the stencil on the top. She'll be flying out the door. Thanks for sharing your creative inspiration at Sunday's Best.

  5. What a cute table! It is a tough call to give up our projects that we've put our heart & souls into, they are like our babies after all the effort we put into them.
